Weightless Reflection

Weightless Reflection was one of the first artworks I made while building my foundry. It emerged from my fascination with body casting and the materiality of bronze. 

This piece captures a suspended gesture — a bronze ball extending outward, appearing weightless despite the density of the medium. That contradiction is intentional. The textured surface draws attention to the nature of the material itself while also reflecting the movement in the environment in a convex shape, creating a dual experience of presence and illusion.
