Generational Humour

A solid bronze broccoli is bizarre and hilarious in its own right. However, I cast this form for a specific reason: to reflect the generational humour in my family.

Years before I was born, my father put broccoli in a flower vase for my mother to see when she came home from work as a response to her request for “practical presents.” It wasn’t unusual for them to joke with each other, and I find it both endearing and relatable.

The celebration of family stories, traits, and humour is essential to understanding ourselves and each other. The bronze broccoli “Generational Humour” continues the lineage of the same humour as my parents.
